Maintenance and storage tips for your fur blanket
- Fur blankets are best suitetd for tucking in and for decoration. It is not very good for furs when you constantly sit on them. That might cause galling. Well, even galling is reparable!
- Every few month you should shake out and/or beat out the blanket - but please not too hard!
- NEVER wash your fur blanket! NEVER give your fur blanket to a chemical cleaning! Bring it to your furrier!
- In case you have a stain on your blanket - wipe it out (CAREFULLY) with a sponge or cloth and a little bit of soapsuds
- Do not store furs in too hot or humit rooms like in your basement or boiler room.
- Very important: no problem if your fur blanket gets wet - but when a fur is wet you may not dry it in a tumbler or on a heater! Just wait for it to dry by itself
