Canadian Lynx - Bobcat
The Canadian/American lynx (Lynx rufus) is also called "bobcat". The lynx has a body length of 65-95 cm and a tail length of 13-19 cm and weighs between 7 and 14 kilograms. The lynx is mainly found in the United States and Canada. The primary color of the fur is red or reddish brown. Bobcats that live in the desert regions in the southwestern part of the range tend to have the lightest coat coloring. In the northern part of the range, however, the fur of the lynx is rather dark. The spots of the coat vary from one individual to another. Some animals are almost entirely spotless, or the spotting is limited to their legs. Other bobcats have distinctive dark brown to black spots and lines on their fur that contrast particularly nicely with the hair's base color on the front legs and tail. Animal welfare is directly linked to quality. We, therefore, only use excellent skins for our fur products. This procedure ensures that the animals are of good origin, which is reflected in the quality of the coat.
