Questions about ordering
How can I place an order?
We've aimed to make this process as comfortable as possible. If you follow these steps, you can easily purchase your desired fur product.
- Find an article you would like to purchase
- Click on "Add to shopping cart" to add the item to your Shopping cart.
- Click "Continue shopping" or click on "View shopping cart" if you would like to check out.
- Once you've finished shopping, click on Shopping cart, located in the top right corner of the screen.
- Once you reach the checkout screen, if you have a voucher code, enter it in the box on the left. Otherwise, click the "Checkout" button.
- If you are an existing Lars Paustian - International Furs customer, please enter your email address and password and click "Login".
- If you're a new Lars Paustian - International Furs customer, you will need to register your details. The online instructions will guide you through our registration process. You have the option to continue without registering, but you will still need to input your personal details.
- Once you are logged in as either a new or existing customer or have entered all relevant information, you will need to choose your preferred method of payment. Confirm your payment choice and click "Next".
- Please accept our terms & conditions and check your order details including your payment method and delivery address.
- Click on "Send order" to confirm your order.
- You see a message confirming your order has been placed. An email confirmation will be sent to your registered email address with your order details.

Can I make an overseas order?
Yes, you can make an overseas order. Just order your preferred fur product online at our website. You can also place the order via email or phone.
I forgot to include something in my order placed. How can I modify my order?
It is no problem if you would like to add a fur product to your order, or if you would like to change something in your order details. Just gives us a call, send us an email, or use our contact form.
How do I choose fur blanket sizes?
You can see the size of our real fur blankets in the product description. Usually, those are our standard fur blanket sizes. Please contact us if you are interested in a different fur blanket size. We can nearly produce every fur blanket in a custom size.
Do you offer fur customization?
It is no problem if you prefer a customized fur product. We can customize our fur products in size, color, and fur type. Please contact us to find out more about our fur blankets, fur pillows, and fur carpets.
Questions about payment
What payment methods can I use to pay?
We accept most major credit and debit cards. VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. You can also choose to pay using PayPal or bank transfer.
What currency will I be charged in? Can I change the currency?
You can pay in Euro, USD, GBP, and CHF. The standard currency is Euro. You can switch to your local currency by changing the currency on the top right corner of your screen.
When am I charged for my order?
As soon as you place the order in our webshop, you will get charged during our secure checkout process. We will start with your order as soon as we receive your order and your payment.

Where do you deliver?
We offer worldwide delivery. We deliver our products to Europe and also all countries outside the European Union. That includes North America (United States, Canada), South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Can I track my order?
We will send you the tracking number as soon as we have shipped your package.
What if I'm not in when you make a delivery?
Don't worry if you are not at home when FedEx tries to deliver your package. The nice man or woman who delivers your parcel will leave a card saying they have attempted to deliver the package, but no one was at home. There will be a phone number on the card for you to ring to arrange a more convenient delivery day.
Questions about our real fur products
Are your fur products authentic/ genuine?
All of our fur products are made with real fur. We only sell new fur products, and we only use new materials for our fur blankets, fur throws, carpets, fur cushions, and fur accessories. The materials used ( the type of fur) in a fur product will be indicated in the article name and description. Every product we make is unique and crafted with the highest precision by our team of master furries. Minimal variations in size and color of up to +/- 3% might occur as we only use 100% genuine and natural furs.
Where are your products made?
All of our fur products are all made in our workshop in Kiel, Germany. Our real fur blankets, fur throws, pillows, and fur carpets are all handmade by our master furriers and tailors.
Where do your furs come from?
Our furs come from Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. Many of our furs are sourced from Scandinavia and Canada. We directly purchase our fur skins from well-known fur auction houses like the NAFA (North American Fur Auction), Fur Harvesters, SAGA Furs in Helsinki, Finnland and Kopenhagen Fur in Denmark. Our fur skins are all Origin Assured, as we only buy fur skins from sources that we know and trust. Besides the fur auction houses, we have many fur products from wild fur sources which are from Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, ....). We are proud only to offer high-quality and excellent fur products and that we do not have furs from China, as they do not fulfill our strict quality regulations.
Where are your fox skins from?
Our foxes are sourced from excellent fur farms in Scandinavia, which we purchase from the SAGA Furs or Kopenhagen Fur auction. Our Canadian red foxes are wild fur, which we purchase from the North American fur auction or Fur Harvesters. The European red foxes are wild fur as well, and they are from Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, and Norway.
Where are your coyote and raccoon pelts from?
Our coyote and raccoon pelts are from Canada, and they are not farmed. We purchase our pelts from the North American fur auction or Fur Harvesters in North America.
Where are your lambskins from?
Our quality lambskins are sourced from New Zealand and Australia.
Where are your mink fur skins from?
Our mink skins are sourced from excellent fur farms in Scandinavia, which we purchase from the SAGA Furs or Kopenhagen Fur auction.
Where are your opossum fur skins from?
Our opossums are either wild opossums from North America or from Australie and New Zealand.
How do you clean fur?

How do you clean your fur product?
You can shake your fur throw or carpet to free your fur from dust. If your fur blanket, fur rug, or fur pillow has got larger stains or if it does smell a little, you should bring or send it to us. We can make a professional fur cleaning. Never give you fur product to a regular cleaning service, who are not familiar with fur cleaning, as dry cleaning or similar will damage the natural material fur permanently. Will my fur product get damaged if it comes in contact with rain or rain?
If your fur gets in contact with rain or snow, you do not have to worry. Light rain or snow will not harm your fur blanket, carpet, fur pillow, or fur accessory. Please have a look at our "Fur Care & Storage" article for more details.
Why should I choose real fur?
Real fur is a natural material, and it is also eco-friendly. If you choose to purchase a real fur blanket or a real fur carpet, you are getting a high-quality product that is sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable. Real fur provides you with a warmth that can’t be rivaled by other fibers like synthetic. Our fur products will keep you warm, but not cause overheating as real fur is exceptionally breathable.
Questions about cancellations or returns
What happens if I don't like the fur blanket, fur pillow, or product?
We hope you adore your new purchase, but if not you may return your item within our cancellation policy. Just send the fur product back to us or return to our shop with your receipt. Please read our terms and cancellation policy before returning the item. If you like, you can let us know that you wish to return your fur product, maybe we can be of help. Item must reach us in the same condition received by you.

What happens if I cancel my order?
If you have not submitted an order yet, you can clear the items in your shopping cart at any time by clicking the "Delete button" next to the product you do not wish to purchase in your shopping cart. If you have placed an order but then wish to change or cancel it, please contact us via email, phone or contact form.
