Only from Copenhagen Fur sold and classified skins bear the seal of approval "Kopenhagen Fur". With an internationally recognized labeling system, Kopenhagen Fur stands for first-class quality and guarantees that all skins are from farms that are subject to strict conditions. More than 90% of the skins sold at Kopenhagen Fur are mink. They sell chinchilla, swakara and sealskin as well. Products bearing one of the four Kopenhagen Fur quality labels - Purple, Platinum, Burgundy or Ivory - are made from carefully sorted, exemplary skins.
Purple Quality
If you choose the high-quality mink fur from Kopenhagen Fur, you select one of the most luxurious materials in the world. First-class mink skins from "Kopenhagen Fur Purple Quality" are characterized by their lightness and silkiness, and by its short guard hair and dense underwool.
Platin Quality
Mink skins with the quality label "Kopenhagen Fur Platinum" have fine, even guard hair and a dense, full underwool.
Burgundy Quality

Kopenhagen Fur - Chinchilla
Chinchillas are considered one of the most exclusive materials in the fashion and interior design industry. The chinchilla fur feels soft and supple and is very lightweight. Chinchillas have the densest hair with around 50,000 hairs per cm2. Most chinchillas have a blue-gray color, the darkest on the back and lighter areas on the side. Thanks to years of careful breeding, other colors are available, such as White, Ebony, Violet, and Sapphire. Originally from South America, the chinchilla skins today are from excellent farms, mainly in northern Europe.
